Hello to all my Library of the Chathams friends!\u00a0 I was there on Friday and what fun we had.\u00a0 Thanks to librarian Jay Chatterjee and to the Friends of the\u00a0Library\u00a0for bringing me in.\u00a0 A quick shout out to my daughter Lindsay, and some of my old friends who came to the event…Martha, Karen (thanks for the pic, Karen), Robin, Mason, Carly, Lauren, Annie and Gweni.\u00a0 Thanks for all the support, guys.\u00a0 And cheers to all my new friends too.\u00a0 We had\u00a0a great time, didn’t we?\u00a0 We all shouted the word zucchini at the top of our lungs and we ate up some yummy grapes too.\u00a0 But we didn’t just eat the grapes, did we?\u00a0 We popped them!\u00a0 Try it.\u00a0 Next time you find yourself eating a bunch of grapes, don’t just eat them…pop them in your mouth.\u00a0 Try it.\u00a0 Pop a grape.\u00a0 And remember, Poppagrape is not a dad.\u00a0 Poppagrape is not a fad.\u00a0 Poppagrape is what you do, with juicy red and green grapes too.\u00a0 After reciting my poetry, the kids stepped up to the plate and wrote their own poem!\u00a0 It is a great piece of work and here it is:<\/p>\n

I like apples very much<\/p>\n

Purple is in the rainbow<\/p>\n

The sky is blue<\/p>\n

Butterflies fly up in the sky<\/p>\n

I live in my house<\/p>\n

I love pineapples<\/p>\n

I eat strawberries for lunch<\/p>\n

I share pickles with my friends<\/p>\n

Jumping jacks are fun<\/p>\n
