Okay, you all know how the song goes. Think Frank Sinatra. Think of the sountrack to every New York Yankess’ win. And then…”Start spreadin’ the news…” because I am going to be at the Lincoln Triangle Barnes & Noble (1972 Broadway at 66th) on Sunday, February 14 from 12:00 – 1:00. And “If I can (boom boom) make it there, I’ll make it (boom boom) anywhere…” I am so excited to recite poetry, sign books and meets lots on new friends on the Upper West Side. I sent out mailings to all the local elementary schools, I’m on a few on-line local calendars, and I am hoping to appear on the city’s tv station NY 1. So here’s hoping for a big crowd – lots of kids and parents who will be entertained, while they learn about their fruits and veggies and hopefully go home to try a few new ones! If we want to raise children who are healthy eaters, first, we must teach them what those healthy choices are. Needless to say, I can’t wait. A whole new group of people will discover my motto, healthy eating starts with a poem. Look for pictures from the event on Monday.
